(NYSE: AHS), the nation’s largest healthcare staffing company, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Rx Pro Health, Inc. and Pharmacy Choice, Inc. (“Rx Pro Health”), leading providers of pharmacy staffing, workforce technology solutions, and on-line educational services for hospital-based and retail pharmacies and pharmaceutical companies. The total cash consideration of up to $17.3 million consists of an initial purchase payment and potential additional earn-out payments through 2009. The company expects to finance the acquisition using cash on hand.
