In 1993
the shareholders and the Board of Managing Directors of the Boehringer
Ingelheim corporation formulated a new Vision for Boehringer Ingelheim
worldwide, built around the central concept of our corporate vision
Value through Innovation.
The Vision was presented for the first time in February
1994 at an event held in conjunction with the International Management
Conference of Boehringer Ingelheim.
Since then, our vision celebrated its 10th anniversary.
In these 10 years our vision has helped us build on our strength and
make the most of our distinctive character. Boehringer Ingelheim's corporate culture was guided by the
concept of "Vision & Leadership" during these first 10 years.
"Lead & Learn" is the present phase in our
evolution. It outlines ways in which Boehringer Ingelheim realises and
delivers Value through Innovation.
"Lead & Learn" as our corporate culture is about
all the people at Boehringer Ingelheim and how they work together.
Value through Innovation as our vision continues to be the headline
goal.
In this way, Boehringer Ingelheim has collectively
discovered that our corporate vision is the driver of our corporate
culture.
