Pharmacy Choice Launches New Web Site Design Enhanced with MICROMEDEX Drug Data

Pharmacy Choice, Inc. announced today that it has released a re-designed version of its popular web portal (http://www.pharmacychoice.com) for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. The company will formally introduce the new web site to attendees of the American Pharmacists Association annual meeting (APhA2005) this weekend in Orlando.
The new web site reflects Pharmacy Choice's evolution as a company focused on providing pharmacy professionals with the best information and educational resources available. "We have opened the door to the future of information delivery services for the health care industry," said Rich Barnhart, vice president and CTO of Pharmacy Choice, Inc. "The new web site design is more scalable, easier to navigate and streamlines the user's access to more relevant information."
Pharmacy Choice also announced that the new web site will include an integrated drug database provided by Thomson MICROMEDEX. Drug data can be easily searched using the web-based interface or downloaded to the user's handheld device, or PDA. Upcoming enhancements to the database will include detailed images of the specific drugs, displaying imprints and characteristics aiding in identification.
