Health Resources and Services Administration
Representative James P. McGovern's (D - MA) amendment is requiring the Health Resources Services Administration to study whether and to what extent there is a shortage of licensed pharmacists, and to report back to Congress at the end of September on its findings.
The report will include comments from private and public entities.
The findings of this report are crucial to understanding and resolving the nation's increased use of prescription drugs alongside its acute shortage of pharmacists.
National Association of Drug Diversion
